Abstract

Latar Belakang : Seseorang dengan HIV positif tidak dapat disembuhkan, mereka memerlukan terapi antiretroviral untuk menurunkan jumlah virus yang ada dalam tubuhnya. Besar harapan ODHA kualitas hidup meningkat, namun jika ODHA tidak patuh dalam minum ARV akan mengakibatkan resistensi obat. Metode : Jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Keabsahan menggunakan triangulasi sumber data. Informan utama adalah remaja dengan HIV positif dan informan pendukung adalah manajer kasus dan teman dekat/pasangan informan. Hasil : Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan informan tentang resistensi obat dan akibat ketidakpatuhan minum ARV masih kurang, namun sikap sebagian besar informan sudah cukup baik. Tidak ada hambatan sarana prasarana yang menjadi masalah untuk semua informan baik dari segi jarak, transportasi, maupun ketersediaan obat. Dukungan yang diberikan oleh KDS sudah cukup baik terhadap kepatuhan informan dalam minum ARV. Separuh informan memiliki riwayat perilaku tidak patuh minum ARV karena efek samping yang mengganggu aktivitas. Kesimpulan dan Saran: Masih terdapat separuh remaja memiliki riwayat tidak patuh karena faktor efek samping ARV dan masalah percintaan. Untuk remaja dengan HIV positif yang sudah patuh diharapkan dapat memotivasi teman-teman yang tidak patuh. kata kunci : Kepatuhan, Remaja, ODHA, ARV. Background: A person with HIV can not be cured, they need antiretroviral therapy to decrease the amount of virus present in their body. High expectation of ODHA quality of life increase, but if ODHA is not obedient in taking ARV will lead to drug resistance. Method: Type of qualitative research with in-depth interviews and observation. Validity using triangulation of data sources. Key informants were HIV positive adolescents and supporting informants were case managers and close friends / spouses of informants. Results: The results of this study indicate that knowledge of informants about drug resistance and the consequences of non-adherence to taking ARVs is lacking, but the attitude of most informants is good enough. There are no infrastructure constraints that are problematic for all informants in terms of distance, transportation, or drug availability. The support provided by KDS is good enough for the compliance of informants in taking ARVs. Half of the informants had a history of non-adherence to taking ARVs because of adverse events that interfered with the activity. Conclusions and Suggestions: Adolescent adherence behavior in taking antiretroviral drugs is still lacking because half of adolescents have a history of non-compliance. For adolescents with HIV-positive who are obedient are expected to motivate friends who are not obedient. Keywords: Adherence, Adolescent, ODHA, ARV.
