Abstract

Latar belakang: Kasus-kasus pelecehan seksual di Indonesia sering terjadi pada anak dan remaja yang berusia di bawah 18 tahun, tidak terkecuali anak-anak jalanan. Faktor-faktor yang menjadi penyebab terjadinya pelecehan seksual pada anak antara lain kurangnya pendidikan seks pada anak usia dini, pergaulan dan gaya hidup bebas, dan kurangnya pengawasan orangtua. Upaya pencegahan yang dapat dilakukan, seperti orangtua dan guru mengajarkan pada anak tentang anggota tubuh beserta fungsinya termasuk bagian tubuh yang tidak boleh disentuh oleh orang lain. Metode: Jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil: Pengetahuan anak jalanan tentang pelecehan seksual dan pencegahannya cukup baik. Mereka juga menyadari jika rentan mengalami pelecehan seksual dikarenakan lingkungan dan pergaulan yang bebas. Bagi anak jalanan, mereka tidak menemukan kesulitan apapun dalam upaya pencegahan terhadap pelecehan seksual. Padahal, hal-hal yang mereka anggap biasa sebagai candaan seperti memegang payudara sesama jenis sudah merupakan salah satu bentuk pelecehan seksual. Simpulan: Anak jalanan sudah memiliki persepsi yang cukup baik tentang pelecehan seksual. Meskipun untuk beberapa kasus pelecehan seksual terhadap sesama jenis, mereka kesulitan melakukan upaya pencegahan. Saran: Perlunya memperkenalkan cara pencegahan pelecehan seksual pada anak jalanan sejak dini dengan menggunakan media dan metode yang efektif, seperti flash card. Kata kunci: Pelecehan seksual, anak jalanan, pengetahuan, persepsi Background: The cases of sexual abuse in Indonesia often occurs in children and adolescents under the age of 18, including street children. The factors that cause the occurrence of sexual abuse in children include lack of sex education in early childhood, association and free lifestyle, and lack of parents control. Prevention effort that can be done, such as parents and teachers that can teaching to the child about their limbs and the functions including parts of the body that can not be touched by others. Method: Type of qualitative research with technique purposive sampling. Results: Street children's knowledge about sexual abuse and the prevention is good enough. They also realized if sexually abused vulnerable due to environmental and social reasons that are free. For street children, they did not find any difficulty in prevention efforts against sexual harassment. In fact, the things that they consider as a joke like holding a same-sex breasts is a form of sexual abuse. Conclusion: Street children have a good perception of sexual abuse. Although for some cases of same-sex sexual abuse, they have difficulty prevention efforts. Suggestions: Need to introduce ways of preventing sexual abuse of street children early by using their preferred media and methods that effective, such as flash card.
