Abstract

Latar Belakang: Nyamuk Aedes aegypti merupakan vektor utama Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD). Upaya penanggulangan DBD mengandalkan pengendalian vektor. Larvasida Temephos (Abate) digunakan untuk mengendalian larva Aedes aegypt secara luas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan daya bunuh Temephos 1 SG terhadap larva Aedes aegypti pada berbagai variasi penggantian air. Metode: penelitian eksperimen ini menguji efek larvasidasi Temephos berdasarkan 4 variasi penggantian air ( hari, minggu, bulan, tiga bulan). Larva instar III diperoleh sebanyak 25 ekor, larva instar III dikontakkan selama 24 jam dengan larutan larvasida Temephos sesuai dengan ketentuan aplikasi dari Kementrian Kesehatan. Efek knockdown Time diamati pada jam ke 1,2,3,6, dan 24 jam. Data dianalisis secara deskriptiv dan analitik. Hasil: Larva Aedes aegypti mengalami kematian dengan nilai rerata 25.00 / 100 % pada semua variasi penggantian air. p= 0,000 (>0,05) sehingga Ho ditolak. Kematian larva berdasarkan lama kontak p= 0,000 (>0,05) sehingga Ho ditolak. KDT50 dan KDT95 tercepat pada penggantian air setiap minggu, yaitu pada KDT50 sebesar 25.400 menit dengan kisaran 23.14 menit hingga 27.40 menit. Sedangkan pada KDT95 yaitu sebesar 35,33 menit dengan kisaran 32,75 menit hingga 39,74 menit. Simpulan: larva Aedes aegypti mengalami kematian pada semua variasi meskipun sudah dilakukan penggantian air. Implikasinya, larvasida Temephos masih efektiv digunakan untuk pengendalian vektor larva Aedes aegypti selama tiga bulan. Kata kunci: Aedes aegypti, Temephos, Variasi penggantian air. Background: Aedes aegypti mosquito is the main vector of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF). DHF efforts relied on vector control. Larvasida Temephos (Abate) is used to control Aedes aegypti larvae widely. This study aims to determine the difference in the power of Temephos 1 SG to Aedes aegypti larvae on various water replacement variations. Methods: This experimental study tested the Temephos larvasidation effect based on 4 variations of water replacement (day, week, month, three months). Instar larvae III obtained as many as 25 tail, instar larvae III was contacted for 24 hours with Temephos larvicidal solution in accordance with the application provisions of the Ministry of Health. Time knockdown effect is observed at hours 1,2,3,6 and 24 hours. Data is analyzed descriptively and analytically. Result: Aedes aegypti larvae died with a mean value of 25.00 / 100% in all variations of water replacement. p = 0,000 (> 0.05) so Ho is rejected. Death of larvae based on length of contact p = 0,000 (> 0,05) so that Ho is rejected. KDT50 and KDT95 fastest on water change every week, ie at KDT50 of 25,400 minutes with a range of 23.14 minutes to 27.40 minutes. While the KDT95 is equal to 35.33 minutes with a range of 32.75 minutes to 39.74 minutes. Conclusion: Aedes aegypti larvae experience death in all variations despite water replacement.
