Abstract

Kata kunci : jumlah trombosit, darah vena, darah kapiler The examination of thrombocyte amountishaematological examination that helps establish diagnosis of a disease which closely related with bleeding existence, including Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever. The examination materials may use the venous blood or capillary blood. The thrombocyte amount in venous blood is higher than capillary blood, its difference is about 9% or 32% on certain circumstance which associated with thrombocyte adhesion on skin leakage place. The research goal is to know the difference of thrombocyte amountin capillary and vein blood on DHF patients. The research type is analytic with cross sectional approach. The research was conducted towards 16 DHF patients, obtained average result of thrombocyte amount in capillary blood was 112.813 / mm3 blood, venous blood 121.250 / mm3 blood. Statistic test of Paired t Test obtained result p <0.05 which means there was significant difference of thrombocyte amount in venous blood and thrombocyte amount in capillary blood. Keywords: thrombocyte amount, venous blood, capillary blood
