Abstract

Kelurahan Tanjung Mas Semarang merupakan kawasan rob, yaitu kawasan yang terdapat limbah industri maupun limbah sampah warga. Pada saat air laut pasang kemungkinan air laut tercemar akan terjadi perembesan limbah industri dan sampah kedalam sumur. Indikator air yang tercemar yaitu tingginya kadar zat organic serta rendahnya kadar oksigen terlarut. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh pasang dan surut air laut terhadap kadar zat organik dan oksigen terlarut pada air sumur di kelurahan Tanjung Mas Semarang. Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Kimia Fakultas Ilmu dan Keperawatan dan Kesehatan Muhammadiyah Semarang. Waktu penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Maret-September 2017. Sampel penelitian menggunakan air sumur sebanyak 5 sampel sumur, kemudian diperiksa kadar zat organik dan oksigen terlarut. Hasil penelitiandari 5 sampel air sumurberturut-turutdiperoleh kadar zat organik pasang (33,26 mg/L, 32,38 mg/L, 26,25 mg/L, 20,17 mg/L dan 18,95 mg/L) dan surut (44,99 mg/L, 88,84 mg/L, 33,35 mg/L, 25,63 mg/L dan 22,86 mg/L) sedangkan kadar oksigen terlarut pasang (4,90 mg/LO2, 5,17 mg/LO2, 5,95 mg/LO2, 6,95 mg/LO2 dan 7,09 mg/LO2) dan surut (3,36 mg/LO2, 4,31 mg/LO2, 4,95 mg/LO2, 5,44 mg/LO2 dan 6,41 mg/LO2).Ada pengaruh pasang dan surut air laut terhadap kadar zat organic dan oksigen terlarut pada air sumur di kelurahanTanjung Mas Semarang. Kata Kunci : Kelurahan Tanjung Mas, Zat Organik, Oksigen Terlarut Kelurahan Tanjung Mas Semarang is a tidal flooding area, and also has industrial and residents waste. When high tides was occur the infiltration of sea water which has been contaminated by the waste potentialy affect the water wells. Indicators of polluted water was the high levels of organic compounds accompanied by low levels of dissolved oxygen. The aim of this study was to assess the effects of tides on the organic compounds levels and dissolved oxygen in water wells at kelurahan tanjung mas semarang. Analysis of the indicators were conducted at Chemical Laboratory of Nursing and Health Faculty of Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang during March – September 2017. Sample from 5 wells were analyzed. Results showed that the organic compound levels varied with the following levels when it was high tides (33,26 mg/L, 32,38 mg/L, 26,25 mg/L, 20,17 mg/L dan 18,95 mg/L) and low tides (44,99 mg/L, 88,84 mg/L, 33,35 mg/L, 25,63 mg/L dan 22,86 mg/L) while the dissolved oxygen levels when it was high tides (4,90 mg/LO2, 5,17 mg/LO2, 5,95 mg/LO2, 6,95 mg/LO2 dan 7,09 mg/LO2) and low tides (3,36 mg/LO2, 4,31 mg/LO2, 4,95 mg/LO2, 5,44 mg/LO2 dan 6,41 mg/LO2).
