Abstract

Pemeriksaan bilirubin total di RS.Panti Wilasa “Dr.Cipto” Semarang mengalami penundaan sampai dengan 3 jam setelah pengambilan spesimen jam 04.00 WIB. Salah satu usaha untuk tetap mempertahankan kadar bilirubin adalah dengan membungkus tabung spesimen dengan plester hitam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengatasi masalah tertundanya pemeriksaan bilirubin dan adanya pengaruh cahaya lampu pada tabung spesimen. Penggunaan tabung gelap diharapan dapat menjadi solusi dari masalah yang ada sehingga pemeriksaan bilirubin total akan terjamin ketepatan dan keteltiannya. Rerata kadar bilirubin total periksa segera 3,3869 dengan SD 1,99184, tunda 1 jam 3,4075 dengan SD 1,98669, tunda 2 jam 3,3856 dengan SD 1,97176, tunda 3 jam 3,2747 dengan SD 1,92811. Berdasarkan data tersebut diperoleh rerata kadar bilirubin total yang hampir sama tetapi tampak meningkat tunda 1 jam dan menurun pada tunda 3 jam. Hasil uji Anova diketahui nilai p value kadar bilirubin total tabung gelap adalah 0,992 lebih besar dari α ( 0,05 ) berarti Ho diterima Ha ditolak yang berarti tidak ada pengaruh cahaya lampu terhadap kadar bilirubin total spesimen tabung gelap dengan penundaan 1, 2, dan 3 jam pada suhu ruang. Spesimen dalam tabung gelap tidak terpengaruh cahaya lampu karena adanya plester hitam yang dapat mencegah cahaya lampu masuk ke dalam spesimen dan tidak terjadi proses isomerisasi sehingga kadar bilirubin total tidak turun. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pemeriksaan bilirubin total yang mengalami penundaan sampai dengan tiga jam dapat diperiksa menggunakan tabung spesimen yang dibungkus plester hitam. Kata kunci : bilirubin total, segera periksa, tunda 1, 2, dan 3 jam, tabung gelap, suhu ruang, cahaya lampu. The examination of total bilirubin level in Panti Wilasa “Dr. Cipto” Hospital Semarang had been delayed for 3 hours after specimen collection at 04.00 WIB. One way to preserve bilirubin level is to wrap the specimen tube with a black tape. The purpose of this study is to overcome the problem of delayed bilirubin examination and the effect of light on the specimen tube. The use of dark tube is expected to be a solution for the problem so that the examination accuracy of total bilirubin is assured. Average chek immediately 3.3869 with SD 1.99184, delay 1 hour 3.4075 with SD 1.98669, delay 2 hours 3,3856 with SD 1.97176, delay 3 hours 3.2747 with SD 1.92811 . Based on these data the mean total bilirubin content is almost equal but seems to increase 1 hour delay and decrease in delay 3. One Way Anova test with p value > 0,05. It is known from the Anova test that p value of total bilirubin level in dark tube is 0,992 higher than α (0,05) implies that Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected which means lamp light has no effect on total bilirubin level in dark tube specimen with 1, 2, and 3 hours of delay in room temperature. Specimen in dark tube was not affected by lamp light because the black tape prevented the light from going through the tube so that the isomerization process did not occur, thus the total bilirubin level did not decrease. The research concludes that specimen tube wrapped with black tape can be used in delayed examination of total bilirubin level up to three hours.
