Abstract

Mutu hasil laboratorium tergantung pada penanganan yang tepat dari spesimen dalam fase sebelum dianalisis (preanalitik). Penggunaan tabung vacutainer sudah banyak digunakan oleh tenaga laboratorium medik, akan tetapi tidak diiringi dengan jarum dan tube holder yang sesuai, melainkan menggunakan syringe. Pemindahan darah dari spuit ke dalam tabung vacutainer tanpa melepaskan jarum dapat berpotensi menyebabkan lisis. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan jumlah eritrosit terhadap memindahan sampel dengan melepas jarum dan tidak pada tabung vacutainer K3EDTA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Sampel diambil sebanyak 16 mahasiswa DIV Analis Kesehatan Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang, kemudian sampel diperiksa setelah dilakukan perlakuan pemindahan sampel dengan melepas jarum dan tidak. Hasil pemeriksaan menunjukkan rerata hasil jumlah eritrosit pemindahan sampel dengan melepas jarum 4,49 juta/µl, sedangkan rerata hasil jumlah eritrosit pemindahan sampel dengan tidak melepas jarum 4,40 juta/µl. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil pemeriksaan jumlah eritrosit pemindahan sampel dengan melepas jarum lebih tinggi daripada tidak melepas jarum, tetapi perbedaan hasil yang didapat tidak terlalu tinggi. Uji statistik Independent Sampel t Test menunjukkan nilai kemaknaan 0,816 dengan taraf kemaknaan 0,05 yaitu 0,816 > 0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan antara hasil pemeriksaan jumlah eritrosit pemindahan sampel dengan melepas jarum dan tidak. The use of vacutainer tubes has been widely used by medical laboratory personnel, but not accompanied by needles and tube holder is appropriate, but using a syringe. Transfer of blood from the syringe into the vacutainer tube without releasing the needle can potentially cause lysis. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference of erythrocyte counts on the removal of the sample by removing the needle and not on the K3EDTA vacutainer tube. This type of research is experimental research. Samples were taken as many as 16 students of Health Analyst DIV University of Muhammadiyah Semarang, then the sample is checked after the treatment of removal of the sample by removing the needle and not. The result of the examination showed the average of erythrocyte sample removal by removing the needle 4.49 million / μl, mean the result of erythrocyte amount of sample removal by not removing the needle 4,40 million / μl. This indicates that the results of the examination of the amount of erythrocytes removal of the sample by removing the needle is higher than not removing the needle, but the yield difference is not too high.
