Abstract
Selection of appropriate methods will be useful for specialized laboratory services of Hepatitis examination. The sensitivity and specificity of the method should be of concern in order for effective and efficient services to be implemented. The currently abandoned ELISA method can still be useda an alternative to more econimical methodsalthough ELFA has been widely used. This research aims to determine the sensitivity and specificity of the ELISA method against RLFA method on Heptitis B examination. This research was conducted on 90samples of inpatients and outpatients who visited the laboratory of Prof. DR. W. Z. Yohanes Kupang. 3 cc venous blood sample in vacuta was taken serum and Hepatitis examination by ELISA and ELFA method. Using 2x2 tables to analyze sensitivity and specificity. The results of this study showed that ELISA’s ELFA sensitivity to ELFA was 98,36% and its 100% accuracy showed very good category of in. Keywords: Hepatitis B, sensitivity, specificity, ELISA, ELFA.
