Abstract

Worm infection is one of the diseases that often found in Indonesia, can cause many impacts one of the absorption of nutrients - nutrients in the body by worms that can cause anemia is a disease most often encountered in the vicinity of Karanggede Hospital Sisma Medika. The purpose is to know the incidence of worms in anemic patients and to know the correlation between worm infection with anemia disease in anemia patient. Inspection of worms using direct sedian from faeces of anemia patient, the patient checked the level of hemoglobin using hematology tool analiser. The data obtained were processed using SPSS version 17 correlation method. The result of the number of patients based on the incidence of intestinal worms obtained by patients as many as 21 people (67.7%) and 10 people not intestinal (32.2%). It was concluded that there was correlation between worms with anemia disease in anemic patients at Karanggede Hospital Sisma Medika. Evidence based on the correlation results obtained significance value 0.004 so that the significance value is lower than 0.05. The correlation coefficient value 0.506 can be interpreted a positive correlation, meaning the higher the Hb level then the patient is more likely to not wormy and vice versa.
