Abstract
At the time of childbirth there will be a hematological chage in the decrease in hemoglobin levels. Decrease of hemoglobin levels in pospartum is due at the time of giving birth a lot of blood and on the next day the mother to give blood every day for about 4-5 weeks, the mother needs a lot of nutritional intake, relaxing adequate, and consume regular Fe tablets. Normal value limit of hemoglobin levels in puerperal mother is 11,0g%. Hemoglobin in normal levels are needed for pospartum health for the health of the body and the baby’s health. The purpose of the study to determine the description of hemoglobin levels in the puerperium. This research is descriptive research with case study approach. The study was conducted on 20 respondents of pospartum mothers. Postpartum women on the first day 100% have low hemoglobin levels and on the seventh day 100% of high hemoglobin levels despite not reaching normal limits. The hemoglobin level on the first day of the lowest 9,00g% and the highest 10,80g%, while on the seventh day the lowest hemoglobin level of 9,60g% and high 11,20g%. Whereas the mean hemoglobin levels in the first postpartum mother was 9,98g% and in the sevent day was 10,51g% higher than the pueperal first day hemoglobin level due to an incraese in hemoglobin level on the seventh day of 0,53g%.
