Abstract
Occupational fatigue can be described as multidimensional crisis situations arising from excessive demands and pressures in a job that interfere with a worker's physical and cognitive abilities. This study aims to find out the description of the occupational fatigue level of the operating room nurses at the Central operating theatre of dr. Kariadi Semarang using cross sectional descriptive research design with quantitative approach. This research was conducted on June 3, 2017 - January 7, 2018. Data collection was done on December 9 to 13, 2017 in the Central operating theatre of RSUP Dr. Kariadi Semarang involving a total of 101 respondents with total sampling. The results of this study indicate the average age of respondents are 33.82 years, Most respondents are male (55.4%). The majority of respondents have married that amounted to 89 people (88.1%). Most of them have career path as Clinical Nurse 3 (PK3) totaling 41 people (40,6%), almost half of respondents have working period under 6 years (43,6%). Responden dominated by diploma education level amounted to 75 people (74.3%) and respondents have a normal nutritional status of 70 people (69.3%). They are mostly experience moderate occupational fatigue rate (47 people or 46.5%). They also that those sustaining light occupational fatigue are 44 people (43.6%), and those with high occupational fatigue are 10 people (9.9%). This research is expected to be a source of information and evaluation for developing the human resources management of operating room nurses as well as an indicator in the achievement of internal and external satisfaction in the hospital.
