Abstract

Diabetic mellitus is a chronic metabolic disease can cause various complication. International Diabetic Federation (IDF) 2015 indicates that victims of DM in the wide world is 415 million people. One of complication can caused by DM is diabetic ulcus. Treatment of diabetic ulcus requiring a long term. Washing wound efficienly become the most important factor within healing wound. NaCl 09% combinate red betel leaf infuse can be used as liquid to wash wound. The aims of this research to analayzing effectivity washing wound using NaCl 0,9% combinate NaCl 0,9% within red betel leaf infuse 40% concerning ulcus diabetic healing process within quasi-experiment pretest-post test. This study was conducted September – November 2017 in Agung Wound Care Clinic and Independent Practice Nurse (PPM) in Semarang in consist of 10 respondents in cluster control and 10 respondents in cluster intervension. Delta test is resulted p value 0,000 it means there is differentiation effectivity between two both cluster. Washing wound using combination NaCl 0,9% within red betel leaf infuse more effective within healing wound. As a recommendation of this research is a nurse carry out wahing wound diabetic ulcus can using combination NaCl 0,9% within red betel leaf infuse 40%.
