Abstract

Nurse’s Competence in Composing Nursing Diagnosis for Patients of Inpatient Departmentat RSUD Tugurejo Semarang V + 42 Pages + 10 Tables + 1 Chart + 13 Appendixes Background: One of nurse’s competences is composing the good and appropriate nursing diagnosis.Nursing diagnosis is resulted from data analysis to create an obvious, concise, and definite statement about patient’s problem. Research objective: Finding out the nurse’s competence in composing nursing diagnosis for patients of inpatient department at RSUD Tugurejo Semarang. Research methodology: descriptive research. Sample: 76 respondents. Research result showed that nurse’s competence in composing actual nursing diagnosis were 92.1% adequate and 7.9% inadequate, while the competence in composing risk nursing diagnosis were 98.7% adequate and 1.3% inadequate. Conclution: nurse’s competence in composing nursing diagnosis for patients of inpatient department at RSUD Tugurejo Semarang is good.
