Abstract

A description the risk of child pressure ulcer bassed on Braden Q scale in PICU room RSUD Tugurejo Semarang. vii + 44 pages + 2 tables +1 scheme+16 attachments Pressure ulcer is localized damage to the skin and or under tissue is a result of pressur or pressur along with the usual in the bone area that stand out. The aims of this study was to determine description of the risk of press injury to the child on the scale Braden Q in the PICU room RSUD Tugurejo Semarang with a quantitative description design. The result were dotainet based on sex the risk of press injury that occured highest in mean (73,1%) based on the age of the highest patient duration 2,73 days. The majority of the risk categories of pressure ulcer were the risk of moderate pressure ulcer (53,8%), low risk of pressure ulcer (42,3%), high risk of ulcers (3,8%). As a recommendation from this research that nurse performas the risk assesment of the pressure ulcer on the child treated in PICU room so early in detecting the risk of pressure ulcer that will occurd using the Braden Q Scale considered in assessing the risk of ulcer to the child.
