Abstract

Examination of hematocrit is a result of a measurement that states the ratio of eritrocite to blood volume. This measurement is done if there is suspicion of diseases that interfere with eritrocite, either excessive or deficient. This analytical research study was conducted to determine the presence of different hematocrit levels in heparin blood based on the lenght of time delay. There were 16 samples which were randomly taken from the total population of 91 students of the 6th semester of Health Analyst Academy of Muhammadiyah University of Semarang. The samples were then examined according to length of time delay. The result of the examination showed the average result of hematocrit in heparin blood level test result 39 %, 1 hour delay 38 %, and 2 hour delay 37 %. These result indicated of hematocrit levels with lower delays than immediated, but they are still within normal range. The statistical test of independent sampe t test showes a significance value of 0,21 with the significance level of 0,05 that 0,21 ≥ 0,05. Thus, it can be concluded that there is no significant difference in heparin blood based on the length of time delay. Kata kunci : levels hematocrit, time effect
