Abstract

Aedes Aegypti mosquito is a disease of dengue hemorrhagic fever. Dengue hemorrhagic fever is a public health problem in Indonesia that is increasing, the wider its spread include mobility and population density. One way to prevent dengue is by breaking the transmission chain by Aedes Aegypti mosquito. The johar leaf is a plant that can be used as an intextide. This study was conducted in July 2018. The method used for experimental (Randomized Block Design) using mosquitoes Aedes aegypti which stood 3-5 days concentration of johar leaf reppllent extract which was 0% 20% and 40% with 9 repetitions each using 20 mosquitoes which were put in and carried out for 30 seconds on the respondent's hand smeared with leaf extract repellrnt johar. the number of mosquitoes that were killed using the Saphiro Wilk test.The results obtained at a concentration of 40% of mosquitoes that landed as much as 16.60% concentration of 20% produced mosquitoes that landed as much as 34.40% and at concentrations of 0% produced mosquitoes that landed as much as 60.00% all levels of difficulty for groups of results orally with concentration group 0% p value <0.05 (p = 0,000).
