Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a disease caused by of insulin in the body so that resulting glucose can not work in the body and blood sugar levels to be higher this disease can also be regarded as a series of metabolic disorder in which the body can adjust the pattern of the processing of carbohydrate , fats, and proteins because of a lack of insulin. Diabetic also wii damage the kidney function is called diabetic nephropathy and to determine the demage to the kidney’s. one screening for creatinine in the blood works well. Especially in the elderly due to weaker musck mass so creatininne levels may exceed the normal limited. The purpose od this study is to describe the creatininne levels of patient with diabetes mellitus by sex. This research is a descriptive conduoted in hospitals dr. Soehadi Prijonegoro in June 2018. The research sample is taken with a semple of 36 elderly patients with inclusion criteria for women and men. The method used JAFFE. Results showed that 36 patients who obtained 2 males and 5 of women with deabetes mellitus levels less. than normal Keywords : Diabetes Mellitus, Grade Creatininne
