Abstract
Background: Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is health problem that threatens Indonesia and many countries around the world. the, HIV is virus that attacks the human immune system and causes AIDS. Transmission from mother to child is the main source of transmission HIV infection in children with a frequency of 25-30%. Goal: Target this research was to apply pathological pregnancy obstetric care to pregnant women with HIV / AIDS in Puskesmas Mejobo Kabupaten Kudus. Method: The method in this study was descripstif study with a case study approach, which describes cased management in applyed evidence based pathological pregnancy obstetric care. Result: Patient named Ny Name: Mrs. "S", aged 27 years, coming to puskesmas for routine pregnancy check-ups. Mrs. S G 1. P 0 .A 0, 30 mg 2 days pregnant, single fetus. Intra uterine life, incremental location, presentation of Head U / U, puka with problems: Pregnant women was HIV positive. Potential diagnosis: HIV transmission from mother to baby. Interventions was carried out as follows: tell the mother the results of the examination, medication regularly, check the pregnancy in two weeks maintain cleanliness, about the risk of HIV transmission from mother to child that 10% of children can be infected if there is no prevention of transmission by delivery Sectio caesaria and exclusive breastfeeding. Evaluation all problems faced by the mother are partially resolved.Sugestion: There are 7 steps in the midwifery management according to Varney, namely a) basic data collection, b) interpretation of basic data, c) identification of diagnoses / potential problems and anticipation of their handling, d) implementation of care, e) care plan, f) establishing immediate action needs, collaboration and reference and g) evaluation.
