Abstract
Background: Based on Indonesia's Health Profile in 2016 the maternal mortality rate in Indonesia is still high at 305,000 per 100,000 live births. in 2017 as many as 2 people were caused by epilepsy and oedemaparu. One of the causes of maternal mortality is labor with congestion, the incidence of congestion can affect the mother, namely the infection and the baby, the baby will experience fetal distress, asfiksa and caput succedaneum. Purpose : Provide midwifery care to Mrs. K 32 years old GIIPIA0 37 Weeks Pregnant with failure to progress of parturition at Kesesi I Public Health Center Pekalongan Regency accordance with Varney midwifery management. Method: This Final Project Report is a case study report using the observational method. Results : Midwifery care given to Mrs. K is referring her to Islamic Muhammadiyah Hospital of Pekajangan with a midwifery diagnosis, namely Mrs. K 32 years old GIIPIA0 is 37 weeks pregnant, single fetus intra uterine life, transversa position, head presentation, lower part of fetus is still in PAP with failure to progress of partutition in stage II of labor. Conclusion : Mrs. K Spontaneous birth in RSI Muhammadiyah Pekajangan, the condition of the mother and baby both did not occur complications. There is no gap between theory and case in the labor of Mrs. K Keywords: Childbirth, failure to progress (FTP) of parturition
