Abstract
Diseases that often occur at the age of 0-36 months are fever, influenza, nausea, vomiting, chickenpox, measles, infection of the skin. One of the major diseases is diarrhea. Olive oil contains emollients which are useful for maintaining damaged skin conditions such as rashes. This case study aims to evaluate the effect of olive oil towards the degree of diaper rash of diarrhea children. The writer has 4 respondents as the subjects in health center or PuskesmasSidoarjoLorSalatiga. Those respondents who suffer diaper rash (dermatitis) is given 6 days of wound care. The data collection methods of the research use interview techniques and physical examination. Descriptive analysis method is done by comparing the conditions before and after wound care with a measuring instrument, which is observation sheet. After giving olive oil for 6 days, the results shows that there is a change in the degree of diaper rash. The conclusion is that the healing process of dermatitis is more significant by using olive oil. Keywords: diaper rash, olive oil
