Abstract

The problem that is often complained about by post partum mothers in Indonesia is the lack of milk production. Lactation is a product that is processed from the milk of mother's milk (ASI) in production until the baby's process sucks and engulfs breast milk. This case study was carried out using techniques to increase milk production in the region of the Dawe Kudus Public Health Center. This case study uses the study driscriptive method using the process of nursing care approach. Respondents are post partum mothers who have ineffective problems with the inadequacy of ASI production. Presentation of data using content analysis by comparing theories with facts found on clients. Case collection in March 2018. Place of case study taking place in the work environment of the Dawe Kudus Community Health Center. Breast massage with Marmet technique for 3 days, BACK, CHAPTER, and frequency of breastfeeding at the beginning of giving, day 2 and day 3. After Marmet massage, breast milk production increases, BAK and BAB BABY increase and the baby is calm. The provision of breast massage with a technique can increase blood flow and dilate the lactiferous duct / channel ASIVITY to increase flow and emission of ASI (let down reflex) will increase. The smooth emission of ASI accelerates the emptying of breast milk which is beneficial in hypofise to produce ASI as needed. Marmet Massage can be used in Puskesmas to reduce the number of exclusive breastfeeding. Keywords: Marmet Massage, ASI Production.
