Abstract

Background: Dysmenorrhea is pain during menstruation, usually with cramps and is concentrated in the lower abdomen (Prawirohardjo, 2011). Dysmenorrhea is experienced by many women who menstruate, but many of them often ignore dysminorrhea without making the right treatment. Conditions like this can endanger a woman's health if left untreated. Disminore can be a symptom of endometriosis or other secondary dysmenorrhea, therefore proper and correct treatment is needed for women who experience dysminorrhea, especially in adolescence or still in puberty. One examination that can be done to determine the level of pain is by using the Numeric rating scale. interpretation of ankle brachial index value can be used as an effective treatment indicator for patients with dysminore NRS is a measurement of pain that is often used in pain measurement and has been validated. One of the prevention is by warm compresses. Objective: to reduce pain scale in disminore patients with complaints of abdominal pain. Method: The design used in the writing of this case study is a descriptive study. Results: there were significant changes between before and after warm compresses with the results of the pain scale of Ms. F from 7 to 2, Ms. D from 7 to 2 and Ms. T from 7 to 2. Conclusion: warm compresses on the neck are proven to reduce pain scale values in disminore patients with complaints of abdominal pain. Keywords: Disminore, Teenagers, Warm Compress.
