Abstract
Mother post partum after cesarean section can experience some of the complications between the other pain, the delay laktogenesis and the delay of early breastfeeding. Back massage using lavender essential oil is one of the nursing interventions is expected to increase the production of breast MILK after cesarean section, so the post partum mother can provide breast MILK exclusively to her baby. The implementation of this design using descriptive, where the authors use a subject with two patients the mother post partum post surgical cesarean in the space of Job I Roemani Muhammadiyah Hospital that had problems with the production of breast MILK given to nursing interventions back massage using lavender essential oil, methods of data collection using observation techniques to determine the frequency of urination of the baby, the baby poops and the frequency of breastfeeding during 24 hours. The method of analysis by comparing the conditions before and after back massage. After the application of back massage with lavender essential oil for 3 days, the result shows the difference in the smoothness of the MILK production between the case managed and case control. The conclusion of this implementation is the intervention back massage using lavender essential oil effect on MILK production in mothers post partum cesarean section.
