Abstract

ABSTRAK “Smart Room” atau ruangan yang didesain cerdas sangat diperlukan diera modern ini Sebagai monitoring ruangan dari pencuri dan penghematan energi listrik. Untuk itu Penulis berusaha merancang sistem Smart Room berbasis mikrokontroller ATMega 8535 dengan inputan sensor photodioda dan sensor gerak PIR (Passive Infrared) sebagai penghemat energi listrik dan monitoring ruangan. Pada bagian pintu masuk dipasang dua buah sensor photodioda yang disinari dengan cahaya led fokus. Dua sensor photodioda ini yang akan mendeteksi adanya orang masuk keluar ruangan dan bisa menghitung berapa jumlah orang yang ada di dalam ruangan. Apabila terdeteksi orang masuk ruangan lewat pintu maka mikrokontroller akan menghidupkan sistem kelistrikan ruangan, sebaliknya apabila semua orang telah keluar ruangan maka mikrokontroller akan mematikan sistem kelistrikan ruangan, sehingga akan menekan pemborosan listrik. Untuk monitoring ruangan dari pencuri, di dalam ruangan dipasang sensor gerak PIR yang akan on apabila sistem kelistrikan off. Apabila ruangan telah kosong, maka listrik akan off dan sensor PIR sebagai pengaman akan on, sehingga akan mempu mendeteksi adanya pencuri yang masuk ke dalam ruangan tanpa melewati pintu masuk. Kata kunci : smartroom, hemat energi listrik, monitoring ruangan. ABSTRACT "Smart Room" or rooms designed indispensable smart this modern era as monitoring room of thieves and saving electrical energy. To the writer trying to design a system of microcontroller-based Smart Room ATMega 8535 with input photodiode sensor and a motion sensor PIR (Passive Infrared) as electrical energy-saving and monitoring room. At the entrance installed two sensors photodiode illuminated with LED light focus. These two photodiode sensor that will detect the presence of people in and out of the room and can count how many people are in the room. Upon detection of people entered the room through the door, the microcontroller will turn on the electrical system of the room, otherwise if everyone has left the room, the microcontroller will shut off the electrical system of the room, so it will minimize the wasting of electricity. For monitoring the room from thieves, indoors mounted PIR motion sensor that will be on when the electrical system off. When the room is empty, then the electricity will be off and the PIR sensor as a safety going on, so it will mempu detect any thief who comes into the room without passing through the entrance.
