Abstract

The Labor pain begins to interfere with activity since the active phase,in this phase feel intense pain because the uterus is contrakting more and more frequentiy to produce conception. Labor pain can be cotrolled by non pharmacological means, namely by counter preassure. The purpose of the actions of intra – natal nursin care though conter preassure techniques to reduce pain in lambor when 1 phase is active. This case study method uses descriptive methods. The author applies the preassurecounter action to reduce and control pain labor when 1 active phase. The author observes and describes the response of pain in the labor process when 1 active phase. Conclusionsfrom the 3 respondents who faced labor during contraction in the first phase of the active phase experienced severe pain, then the 3 respondents received a counter preassure by her husband by assisting health workers everi 10 minutes or every contraction. The result is pain that can be controlled and controlled from severe pain to moderate pain. Counter preassure is carried out in the lumbal region where the sensory nerves of the uterus and cervix run along with the nerves of the uterine sympathy into the spinal cord through the thoracic nerve 10, 11, 12 to the lumbal.That way pain impulse can be blocked that is by giving stimulation to a large nerve that causes the controll gate to be closed and painful stimuli cannot be passed to the cortex. The couter preassure technique will block pain impulses which will be transmitted to the brain faster compared to other techniques.
