Abstract
Diarrhea is a disease characterized by defecation frequency more than 3 times a day. Resulting on the increasing of faecal expenditure, so that parents needs to change diapers more often, if the diapers were not replaced immediately would cause redness around the genetalia called diapers dermatitis, the olive oil would reduce the diapers dermatitis degree in children. Olive oil contains high anti-oxidants, especially phenol and vitamin E. Phenol and vitamin E benefit is anti-inflammatory. The application purpose is to find out the diapers dermatitis degree in diarrhea children using olive oil to reduce diapers dermatitis in the genetalia area. The writer studying 2 respondents aged 0-36 months. The results showed that there was decrease in the diapers dermatitis degree of both respondents in 4 days with the application frequency every morning and evening.
