Abstract

Breast Milk is a natural food that is first and foremost for babies so that it can achieve optimal growth and development, but there are still many mothers who do not want to breastfeed because they have difficulty spending breast milk or just come out a little so that they do not meet the needs of their babies. At the time of the study, the two respondents said that ASI came out a little and the baby was fussy, so that the data could be made diagnosed by the effectiveness of milk production. For this reason, special breast care is needed to facilitate breastfeeding, which is an octet massage performed 2 times a day, which is morning and evening for 3 days. The action is carried out 15 minutes in the hope that the baby will not be fussy and breast milk production will be fulfilled. This massage is a breast care method that does not cause pain, provides a sense of comfort and can stimulate the strength of the pectoralis muscle to increase milk production. The purpose of this application is to apply breast care with oketani massage techniques to the smooth production of breast milk of post partum mothers at Roemani Muhammadiyah Hospital Semarang. The results of this application can be seen that there is a difference between done and not performed octet massage with the ASI indicator can come out, from these actions can be evaluated with the results of breast milk coming out smoothly, the baby is not fussy, the baby sucks strong breast milk, the infant urination 8-10 times a day, defecate 4-6 times a day.
