Abstract

ABSTRAK Laju endap darah adalah salah satu parameter hematologi yang mengukur kecepatan pengendapan sel darah di dalam plasma dan dinyatakan dalam mm/jam.Antikoagulan yang sering digunakan adalah antikoagulan EDTA namun pengadaan dan pendistribusian ke daerah-daerah masih terbatas.Salah satu antikoagulan alternatif yang dapat digunakan adalah ekstrak batang mangrove (Aegiceras corniculatum)yang mengandung senyawa flavonoid yang dapat menghambat terjadinya pembekuan darah.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan nilai laju endap darah menggunakan antikoagulan EDTA dengan ekstrak batang mangrove (Aegiceras corniculatum).Jenis penelitian adalah observasional analitik dengan rancangan penelitian Cross sectional.Sampel sebanyak 16 diambil secara non random purposive sampling dari total 31 mahasiswi kelas D lintas jalur DIV analis kesehatan Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rerata nilai laju endap darah menggunakan antikoagulan EDTA adalah 17,56 mm/jam dan rerata nilai laju endap darah menggunakan ekstrak batang mangrove (Aegiceras corniculatum) adalah 0 mm/jam. Hasil analisis menggunakan Independent Sample T-test, taraf signifikan yang digunakan adalah 0,05 didapatkan nilai p-value 0,000 yang berarti p-value α< 0,05 artinya H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima sehingga terdapat perbedaan nilai laju endap darah menggunakan antikoagulan EDTA dengan ekstrak batang mangrove (Aegiceras corniculatum). Anticoagulant that is often used is the anticoagulant EDTA but procurement and distribution to the regions is still limited. One of the anticoagulant alternative that can be used is the extract of the stem of mangrove (Aegiceras corniculatum), which contain flavonoid compounds that can inhibit the occurrence of blood clots. The purpose of the study was to determine the difference in the value of erythrocyte sedimentation rate using the anticoagulant EDTA with the extract of stems of the mangrove (Aegiceras corniculatum). This type of research is observational analytic with Cross sectional study design. A sample of 16 is taken by non-random purposive sampling of a total of 31 students of class D cross-track DIV health analyst, University of Muhammadiyah Semarang. The results showed that the average value of erythrocyte sedimentation rate using the anticoagulant EDTA is 17,56 mm/h and the average value of erythrocyte sedimentation rate using the extract of the stem of mangrove (Aegiceras corniculatum) is 0 mm/h. The results of the analysis using Independent Sample T-test, significant level used was 0.05 obtained value of p-value of 0.000 which means p-value α< 0.05 means H0 is rejected and Ha accepted so that there is a difference in the value of erythrocyte sedimentation rate using the anticoagulant EDTA with the extract of stems of the mangrove (Aegiceras corniculatum).
