Abstract

Hepatitis B is a liver disease caused by a virus Hepatitis B (VHB), a member the family Hepadnaviridae that can cause inflammation of the liver acute and could continue be a cirrhotic liver or cancer hearts. Research purposes to understand HBsAg picture employees Balai Laboratory Provincial Health the Central Java (BLK) by age, length of employment, sex, the use of a protective yourself (APD), vaccine Hepatitis B. The kind of research is research descriptive. The total sample 60 taken (the total number of) employees Balai Health Laboratory Semarang. The research results show five people the results of investigation hbsag positive namely 3 boys (34 - 38 years ), 2 women ( 25 - 48 years ), many years working in blk semarang 5 - 10 years, never Hepatitis B vaccinations and 4 officers not wearing APD, 1 of persons wearing APD. 55 people results pemeriksan HbsAg negative namely 21 boys, 34 women, was ( 22 - 58 year, many years working in BLK Semarang 5 - >20 years, everyone has been Hepatitis B vaccinations and of the 24 not wearing APD, 31 wearing APD. Keywords : HbsAg, Hepatitis B, ELISA.
