Abstract
Is a rodent that is very harmful and is a reservoir of several pathogens in humans and animals. Bandicota sp. can transmit disease directly through ectoparasites bites or bacteria contained in ectoparasites. This study aim to analyze the total protein profile of the bacterial isolates from ectoparasites of Bandicota sp. In the Kini Jaya Housing complex in Semarang using SDS-PAGE method. The result of the total bacterial protein profile was found S.epidermidis with 21 sub units proteins consists of 8 major sub units and 13 minor sub units. The molecular weight of the major protein subunits is 10 kDa, 16.8 kDa, 37 kDa, 42 kDa, 44 kDa, 56 kDa, 75 kDa, and 99 kDa. The molecular weight of minor protein subunits is 10 kDa, 16 kDa, 19 kDa, 21 kDa, 23 kDa, 30 kDa, 68 kDa, 73 kDa, 86 kDa, 96 kDa, 106 kDa, 113 kDa and 117 kDa.
