Abstract

Pre-analytic factors are the biggest cause of errors in laboratory test, one of wich must be considered is the examination of hemostasis is anticoagulant. Examination of activated Partial Thromboplastine Time (APTT) uses a sodium citrate 3,2% anticoagulant in the ratio of 9 blood volumes and 1 volumes of anticoagulant which serves to bind calcium ions in the blood and form calcium citrate complex to prevent clotting. The purpose of this study is to measure the value of APTT and analyzed the difference in APTT values by comparison of the sample volumes and sodium citrate 3,2% by 9:1 and 8:1. Method of research is analytic research. The sample needed ws 1 students of Health Analyst DIII. APTT Result comparison of blood with sodium citrate 9:1 is 21 second and 8:1 is 29 second, based on paired t-Test statistical test shows the value of p= 0,000(<0,05) which means that result showed that there was a significant difference between the sample volume ratio of 9:1 and 8:1 there was activated Partial Thromboplastine Time. Keyword : activated Partila Thromboplatine Time, comparison of blood volumes and anticoagulant
