Abstract
The green mussels (Perna viridis) generally be used as food , but the sea water is now beginning to tainted possible green mussels contaminated by bacteria Coliform. The aims of this research to know the total bacteria Coliform on green mussels raw sold in Tambak Lorok Semarang. The research was done a sort of descriptive set, 10 sample green mussels taken from 5 traders in Tambak Lorok Semarang to the time the collections that different, morning and evening. Sample mashed and plus NaCl fisiology to do series dilution, then planted in the media CCA (Chromocult Coliform Agar). The research results show that the total bacteria Coliform and E.coli above the threshold value since according to SNI 01-2332.1-2006 point of the bacteria that allowed to foods to Coliform 1x102 MPN/gram and E.coli is 0 ( zero ) or the maximum < 3 cfu/grams. The average sample green mussels increased the amount of bacteria Coliform and E.coli especially in samples of green mussels in the evening.
