Abstract

The aim of this research was to find out the sensitivity pattern of 31 bacterial isolates from vagina komersial sex worker at Sunan Kuning prostution Semarang to antibiotic tetracycline, ampicilin, erytromixin, and cefotaxime, 31 bacterial isolates consist of 13 isolates Lactobacillus sp, 1 isolate Staphylococcus epidermidis and 4 isolates Staphylococcus aureus, 8 isolates Escherichia coli, 2 isolates Enterobacter aerogenes, 1 isolate Klabsiella pneumonia, 1 isolate Niseeresia gonorrhoeae, and 1 isolate Providensia suartii, Sensitivity test was performed by Kirby Bauer method. The results of the sensitivity pattern of the gram-positive bacteria (Lactobacillus sp, Staphylococcus epidermidis, and Staphylococcus aureus) showed sensitivity to sensitive tetracycline (27.78%) resistant (44.44%), ampicillin sensitive (55.56%) resistant (38, 89%), sensitive cefotaxime (55,56%) resistant (22,22%) and Erytromicin resistant (50,00%) sensitive (33,33%), while from gram negative bacteria (Escherichia coli, Enterobacter aerogenes, Klabsiella pneumoniae , Niseeresia gonorrhoeae, and Providensia suartii) showed susceptibility to sensitive tetracycline (76.92%) resistant (7.69%), ampicillin sensitive (61.53%) resistant (38.46%), sensitive cefotaxime (100%) Resistant (o%) and erytromicin resistant (46.15%) sensitive (7.69%).
