Abstract
Laboratory personnel are people who have a tendency of contaminated hepatitis B disease because exposed directly by various kinds of body fluids such as blood, vaginal fluid, semen and the risk of needle puncture that can transmit disease hepatitis B. Prevention of Hepatitis B can be done by vaccine Useful to protect against hepatitis B virus attack. Anti HBs levels are the specific antibody content for HBsAg. Anti HBs are interpreted as immune or in the hepatitis B healing period. These antibodies provide protection against hepatitis B disease with levels having titres below 10 IU / L considered non reactive, while Anti HBs with results greater than or equal to 10 IU / L Is considered reactive to indicate immunity to hepatitis B from vaccination or recovering from an infection. This research uses descriptive method with the aim to know the level of examination of Anti HBs at clinical laboratory laboratory of Cito Semarang before getting hepatitis B vaccination. This research was conducted in clinical laboratory of Cito Indraprasta Semarang with total of 30 specimens from total population in the form of venous blood serum, In December 2016. From the results of the study showed that 28 (98%) of respondents had levels of Anti HBs before Hepatitis B vaccination less than 10 IU / L and as many as 2 (2%) of respondents had levels of Anti HBs before Hepatitis B vaccination more than 10 IU / L.
