Abstract

The stage of pre analytic is a very important stage and need to be.considered with good sample collection techniques the rigt areas is also important for flebotomits to minimize injury of a tourniquet in time more than 2 minutes lead to te occurrence of hemokosentrasi so that it can increase the levels of hemoglobin and hematocrit. The purpose of this study was determine the differences in levels of hematological and hematocrit on the damming of less than 2 minutes and more than 3 minutes. This type of research was conducted in the laboratory of clinical pathology, University of Muhammadiyah Semarang. Samples were taken by purposive sampling as many as 16 students of D III health analyst year 2016 semester 5 Faculty of Nursing and Health Science Universityy of Muhammadiyah Semarang in check the levels of hemoglobin and hematocrit with the damming of less than 2 minutes and morethan3minute. Based on the research, get the result, the levels of hemoglobin and hematocrit levels by damming directly. Statistical test paired sample t – test showed a significant difference between hemoglobin levels by damming less than 2 minutes and damming more than 3 minutes. Statistical tests paired sample t test showed value significant 0.000 ≤ 0,05 Can be concluded there are significant differences between levels of hemoglobin by damming less than 2 minutes and damming a more than 3 minutes.
