Abstract

Return of PRC after removal from the stored temperature (2-6 ° C) still occurs. The PRC is returned to the Blood Bank after being out of storage for 120 minutes, should be a maximum of 30 minutes. The temperature of the treatment room is 25 ° C, therefore it is necessary to look at the difference between poikylocytosis and glucose levels at 25 ° C for 30 minutes and 120 minutes. The research method used is experimental time series. The sample size is calculated by the repetition formula. Samples taken from passive stock of Bank Blood of dr. Kariadi Semarang from November 2016 to January 2017 as many as 17 bags, then examined poikilocytosis and glucose levels after being left at 25 ° C for 30 minutes and 120 minutes. The difference of poikilocytosis was tested by Wilcoxon test, while glucose level was tested by paired t test. The results showed that in the first 30 minutes the highest level of poikilocytosis was poikilocytosis level 3+, whereas in the 120th minute most of the poikilocytosis was at 4+ levels. Value p = 0,003, because p <0,05 there is significant difference. The average results of glucose examination in the 30th minute was 157.94, while in the 120th minute was 140.06.
