Abstract

Immunization is an attempt to confer immunity in infants by incorporating the vaccine into the body so that the body makes antibodies to prevent against certain diseases. Immunization coverage in rural districts Rowosari Ulujami Pemalang not meet UCI (Universal Child Immunization). This study aims to determine the relationship of family support with the completeness of immunization status in the village of Pemalang district Ulujami Rowosari districts. This research is a retrospective analytic with cross sectional approach. The population in this study is total population. Data analysis using chi-square test. This study was conducted October 1, 2016 until November 1, 2016 in the village of Pemalang district Ulujami Rowosari districts with a sample of 60 children aged 12-24 months. The result of chi-square statistic family support informational obtained p-value 0.907, p-value appraisal support 0,044, instrumental support p-value of 0.001, p-value of emotional support and support 0,142 families with complete immunization status p-value 0.036. This means that there is a relationship with the family support completeness of immunization status in the village of Pemalang district Ulujami Rowosari districts. Expected for health workers and village government actively inform the public about the importance of immunization for children under five.
