Abstract

Kidney failure occurring chronic diseases will lead to chronic renal failure. Chronic renal failure can be life-threatening because it can cause complications, patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy in the long term should be faced with the problem of medical, social and economic, affecting the quality of life of patients with chronic kidney failure .The Purpose of this study was to determine the quality of life in the patients with chronic renal failure those undergoing hemodialysis in RSUD Semarang City. This research was a descriptived study using cross sectional design. The research sample of 59 respondents used purposive sampling technique. The results showed that in patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis in RSUD Semarang City quality of life of patients will be saying good, this thinked supported by data from several aspects of the above are symptoms / problems of hemodialysis patients, the effects of kidney disease, burden of kidney disease, cognitive function and quality of social interactions, social functioning, quality of sleep, social support, satisfaction hemodialysis patients, physical function, physical role hemodialysis patients, the perception of pain, general health hemodialysis patients, emotional well-being and energy / fatigue emotional role, social function. For patients expected to have more control in their daily life patterns, in order to improve physical health and quality of life. Keywords: Kidney Failure, Hemodialysis, Quality of Life
