Abstract
Diabetes mellitus is a hiperglicemic condition arising from metabolic disorders due to hormonal disturbance. It can be controlled by obeying the four pillar of its management like, health education, dietary management, physical exercise and medical therapy so that the blood glucose can be controlled properly and prevent any complication that lead to anxiety. This study was a non-experimental research which used a correlation research designed called cross sectional. A non parametric analysis using Rank Spearman showed 0,001 with r value 0,686. It means there was a correlation between anxiety and blood glucose levels on people with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Morodemak village. Based on this research, to the health service institution need to do a diabetes mellitus screening, give an education about controlling diabetes mellitus, and follow the health program that used by related institution in order to avoid its complication and decreasing the anxiety level.
