Abstract
The workload is one factor that is most keenly felt by the employee because of the demands of the work, the load is closely related to the worked, which is also related to performance. If the excessive workload will affect the performance, where it relates to a person's level of tiredness, and affect the quality and quantity of their sleep, the resulting in disturbed sleep patterns are irregular and affected the activity of worker . the purpose of this study was to find out the workload on the quality of sleep in the factory workers of PT. Yang Ming International of Semarang city. This type of research is descriptive correlation study using cross sectional design. The research sample of 104 respondents with quota sampling technique. The results showed that the workload of factory workers in moderate category (33.7%), sleep quality factory workers is good category (53.8%) and there is a relationship between workload on the quality of sleep (p = 0.000), when factory workers experiencing workload overload, lack of rest, will affect factory workers to experience poor sleep quality. Factory workers can control his work by way of relaxation together with employees of the plant once a week. Keywords: Workload, sleep Quality, Factory Workers
