Abstract

ANALISIS KETERLAKSANAAN PRAKTIKUM KIMIA DISALAH SATU SMA DI KOTA SERANG Abiola Lucky Audihani Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia, Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang Jl.Kedungmundu No.18 Kec. Tembalang, Kota Semarang, Jawa Tengah 50273 e-mail : abiolalucky@gmail.com ABSTRAK Pelaksanaan praktikum kimia pada tingkat SMA memiliki tantangan tersendiri. Melihat pentingnya pelaksanaan praktikum dalam pembelajaran kimia serta besarnya kendala kegiatan praktikum kimia maka perlu diteliti apakah kegiatan praktikum kimia dapat terlaksana atau tidak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keadaan sarana dan prasarana yang menunjang ketererlaksanaan praktikum kimia sehubungan dengan permasalahan yang telah dijelaskan tersebut, peneliti meneliti ini dengan judul “Analisis Keterlaksanaan Praktikum Kimia Studi Kasus Disalah Satu Sekolah Kota Serang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam pendekatan campuran antara kualitatif dan kuantitatif secara berurutan, di mana pada tahap pertama menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan tahap kedua dengan metode kualitatif. Keadaan fasilitas sarana dan prasarana laboratorium di sekolah tersebut masih tergolong sudah baik atau bisa dikatakan sudah memadai untuk menunjang kegiatan praktikum khususnya pada pembelajaran kimia dengan perolehan data sebesar 76,59% (baik). Pelaksanaan praktikum kimia di masa PJJ maupun PTMT telah terlaksana dengan cukup baik dengan perolehan data sebesar 74,46 (baik). Kesiapan siswa dalam pelaksanaan praktikum dengan perolehan data sebesar 71,98% (baik). Kesiapan guru dalam mempersiapkan dan membimbing kegiatan praktikum dengan perolehan data sebsar 83,85% (baik). Kesiapan laboran dalam mempersiapkan dan membimbing kegiatan praktikum dengan perolehan data sebsar 47,36% (kurang baik). Sekolah seharusnya mewajibkan setiap laboratorium harus memiliki laboran sehingga bisa membantu guru dalam pelaksanaan praktikum khususnya praktikum kimia dan memiliki ruangan khusus untuk laboratorium kimia, sebaiknya laboratorium kimia dibuat terpisah karena bila disatukan dengan laboratorium biologi dapat menyebabkan sulitnya membagi waktu pelaksanaan praktikum. Seeing the importance of practicum implementation in chemistry learning and the magnitude of the constraints on chemical practicum activities, it is necessary to examine whether chemical practicum activities can be carried out or not. This study aims to determine the condition of the facilities and infrastructure that support the implementation of chemistry practicum in connection with the problems that have been described. The type of research used in this study is descriptive using qualitative methods. This research is included in a mixed approach between qualitative and quantitative sequentially, in which the first stage uses quantitative methods and the second stage uses qualitative methods. The condition of laboratory facilities and infrastructure at the school is still classified as good or it can be said that it is sufficient to support practicum activities, especially in chemistry learning with data acquisition of 76.59% (good). The implementation of chemical practicum during the distance learning and limited face-to-face meetings has been carried out quite well with data acquisition of 74.46 (good). Readiness of students in carrying out practicum with data acquisition of 71.98% (good). Teacher readiness in preparing and guiding practicum activities with data acquisition of 83.85% (good). Readiness of laboratory assistants in preparing and guiding practicum activities with data acquisition of 47.36% (not good). Schools should require that each laboratory must have a laboratory assistant so that they can assist teachers in carrying out practicums, especially chemistry practicums and have a special room for chemistry laboratories. It is best if the chemistry laboratory is made separate because if it is put together with the biology laboratory it can make it difficult to divide practicum time.
