Abstract
ABSTRAK Ayuningtyas, Annisa Permatasari, 2023, Pengelompokan Kabupaten/Kota Jawa Tengah Berdasarkan Indikator Kesejahteraan Menggunakan Metode Fuzzy Gustafson Kessel. Skripsi, Program Studi Statistika, Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang. Pembimbing: I. Dr. Rochdi Wasono, M.Si. II. Indah Manfaati Nur, M.Si. Kesejahteraan rakyat menjadi hal yang selalu diutamakan dalam pembangunan daerah. Menurut BPS, kesejahteraan rakyat diukur dari berbagai perspektif seperti kependudukan, kesehatan, pendidikan, ketenagakerjaan, taraf dan pola konsumsi, perumahan dan kemiskinan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi kepada pihak terkait dalam pembangunan nasional agar memberikan penanganan yang sesuai kepada provinsi yang dianggap kurang sejahtera berdasarkan tingkat homogenitasnya dengan metode pengelompokan Fuzzy Gustafson Kessel. Fuzzy Gustafson Kessel diusulkan oleh Gustafson dan Kessel pada tahun 1979. Metode ini melakukan perubahan komponen jarak pada fungsi objektif D_ik^2 yaitu menggunakan formula jarak Mahalanobis. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan pengelompokan kabupaten/kota Jawa Tengah menggunakan Fuzzy Gustafson Kessel dan dievaluasi menggunakan beberapa indeks validitas seperti Partition Coefficient Index (PCI) dan Classification Entropy Index (CEI). Diperoleh jumlah cluster paling optimal adalah tiga cluster dengan Cluster pertama beranggotakan 9 kabupaten/kota, Cluster 2 beranggotakan 5 kota dan Cluster 3 beranggotakan 21 kabupaten. According to BPS, people's welfare is measured from various perspectives such as population, health, education, employment, consumption levels and patterns, housing and poverty. This research aims to provide information to relevant parties in national development in order to provide appropriate treatment to provinces that are considered less prosperous based on their level of homogeneity with the Gustafson Kessel Fuzzy clustering method. Fuzzy Gustafson Kessel was proposed by Gustafson and Kessel in 1979. This method changes the distance component in the D_ik^2 objective function using the Mahalanobis distance formula. In this study, clustering of districts/cities in Central Java will be carried out using Fuzzy Gustafson Kessel and evaluated using several validity indices such as Partition Coefficient Index (PCI), and Classification Entropy Index (CEI). The optimal number of clusters obtained is three clusters with the first cluster consisting of 9 districts/cities, Cluster 2 consisting of 5 cities and Cluster 3 consisting of 21 districts.
