Abstract

Examination and exploration is one of the important indicators in assessing the health condition of foster children and hospital care. A tool often used in temperature measurement is a thermometer. To obtain accurate measurement results then the necessary skills in using the thermometer. One of the nurses' skill options can be seen from the ability to conduct body temperature based on SOP. The purpose of this research is to know the way of the body temperature measurement according to SOP at Hospital Roemani Semarang. The design of this study is descriptive study. The respondents of this research are RS Roemani Semarang nurses as many as 60 people. The sampling technique used total sampling. The result of the research which is physiological and technical factor of the body in good condition, SOP implementation most of respondent do body temperature measurement in children according to SOP that is as much as 83,3%, and do not match SOP as much as 16,7%. Based on this result then the hospital that can give it to every employee who cares for the nurse to do work according to SOP so as not to happen in the act of nursing care.
