Abstract
Background: Maternal mortality rate (MMR) as one indicator of maternal health, in Jepara regency Year 2015 as many as 11 people, One of the efforts to accelerate the decline of death of mother by giving service of Antenatal Care (ANC), that is pregnancy examination given by midwife or doctor to mother During pregnancy. Objective: To know the relation of knowledge, attitude, work period with behavior of ANC service at Puskesmas. Method: This research is analytical research using cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were midwives who work in Jepara Health Center and Puskesmas Tahunan which amounted to 40 people. The independent variable of knowledge, attitude and tenure while the dependent variable is ANC service behavior. Data analysis with Rank Spearman correlation. Result: Respondents with good knowledge of 62.5%, supportive attitude toward ANC service 87,5%, service period enough to give service of ANC 70%. There were knowledge relation (p = 0,032 and r = 0,630) and attitude (p = 0,009 and r = 0,451) with ANC service by midwife, no midwifery relationship (p = 0,009 and r = 0,226) with ANC service.
