Abstract
The study discussed about the effectiveness of peer feedback technique and magic cards to improve speaking skill for X grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Bandar, Batang. The subjects of the result used two classes, i.e the experimental class using peer feedback technique and magic cards and control class using conventional. The data were obtained by through pre-test, post-test and questionnaire. The researcher conducted try out to get the validity, reliability, difficulty level and distinguishing capacity of the instruments. The data then, is analized by t-test formula. The result of is t-test shows t aritmatic is greater than t table, (6.247>1.994), so the hypothesis is accepted. There was significant difference in students’ speaking skill between class taught with peer feedback technique and magic cards and conventional teaching method that 7.66. Based on the result of research, the researcher suggests that the teacher can use peer feedback technique and magic cards to improve students speaking skill.
