Kata Kunci : Perilaku pencegahan, ventilasi, genteng kaca, lubang asap, kejadian ISPA Abstract Background: Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) incidence still becomes a health problem in Indonesia. Many factors can influence the incidence of this disease in under-five children. The independent variables of this study included prevention behavior, ventilation, glass tile and smoke hole, while the dependent variable was Acute Respiratory Infection incidence. Data analysis technique used was Chi square. Results: The results showed that the poor prevention of Acute Respiratory Infection was 10.9%. The bad air ventilation was 18,8%. Respondents' house which did not have glass roof tiles was 15.6%. Respondents' house which did not have smoke hole was 25.0%. Respondents' under-five children who infected with Acute Respiratory Infection in the last three months were 20.3%. There was a significant correlation between the behavior of ARI prevention with ARI incidence with p value of 0.000. There was a significant relationship between air ventilation and ARI incidence with p value of 0.000. There was a significant relationship between the glass roof tiles and ARI incidence with p value of 0.000. There was a significant relationship between the smoke holes and ARI incidence with p value of 0.000. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship among preventive behavior, ventilation, glass roof tile and smoke hole with ARI incidence in under-five children. Keywords: Preventive behavior, ventilation, glass roof tile, smoke hole, ARI incidence
