Abstract

Pemeriksaan kadar trigliserida adalah uji untuk mengetahui konsentrasi trigliserida yang ada didalam tubuh, sampel yang umumnya digunakan adalah serum. Serum diperoleh dengan dua cara yaitu darah yang didapat dibekukan sebelum dicentrifuge guna menghindari terjadinya hemolisis serta kandungan lemak terurai sempurna bersama serum, dan darah yang langsung dicentrifuge tanpa dibekukan guna mempersingkat waktu, tetapi menyebabkan adanya kontaminasi protein didalam serum, oleh karena itu peneliti ingin mengetahui perbedaan kadar trigliserida serum dari darah yang dibekukan sebelum dicentrifuge dan langsung dicentrifuge. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian analitik dengan sampel serum dari 21 responden yang dibekukan dan tidak dibekukan kemudian diperiksa kadar trigliserida dengan metode photometri. Hasil penelitian menunjukan rata-rata hasil pemeriksaan kadar trigliserida serum dari darah yang dibekukan sebelum dicentrifuge sebesar 126 mg/dl, sedangkan rata-rata pemeriksaan kadar trigliserida serum dari darah yang langsung dicentrifuge sebesar 119 mg/dl. Data dianalisis dengan uji statistik t dependen, nilai p-value yang didapat sebesar 0,002 sehinggan lebih kecil dari taraf kemaknaan 0,05, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada kadar trigliserida serum yang dibekukan sebelum dicentrifuge dan langsung dicentrifuge. Kata Kunci : dibekukan, tidak dibekukan, kadar trigliserida Examination of triglyceride level is a test to determine the concentration of triglycerides presents in the body, a commonly used sample is serum. Serum obtained in two ways i.e. the blood obtained is frozen before the centrifuge to avoid the occurrence of hemolysis and the fat content decomposes perfectly with the serum and the blood which directly centrifuged without frozen in order to shorten the time, but causes the contamination of proteins in the serum, therefore researchers want to know the difference serum triglyceride levels are frozen before centrifuge and directly centrifuge. The type of this research was Analytic Study with serum sample from 21 respondents who were frozen and not frozen then examined triglyceride level by photometric method. The results showed the average of serum triglyceride test results from frozen blood before centrifugation of 126 mg/dl, while the mean serum triglyceride concentration of blood directly centrifuged was 119 mg/dl. The data were analyzed by T-dependent Statistic Test. The value of p-value obtained was 0.002 so that it was smaller than the significant level of 0.05, it can be concluded that there was a significant difference in serum triglyceride concentration which was frozen before centrifuge and directly centrifuge Keywords : frozen, not frozen, triglyceride levels
