Abstract
Drivers classified as adult age need 7 to 8 hours/day, but long working hours (14 - 16 hours/day) cause the driver to work until dawn. Excessive work or late into the night needs attention because the circadian rhythm of manusaia can be disrupted because, at 9am - 3am, the pancreas and liver are working to get rid of toxins while we sleep. Lack of sleeping frequency in night workers increases the risk of liver damage. One sign of impaired or damaged liver is increased levels of SGPT. The purpose of this research is to know the description of serum glutamic pyrvic transaminase level at the drivers Shuttle Sumber Alam Cilacap. This research is a descriptive research. Examination of SGPT levels with 25 samples obtained from all of the drivers Shuttle Sumber Alam Cilacap Cilacap in total population. Data collecting by questionnaire method and SGPT level examination by photometric kinetic method. The results of this study were 40% of respondents with 40-50 years old age group had normal SGPT levels of 38 U/L and >normal 47 U/L, while 40% of respondents with a working duration of 21-25 years had normal SGPT levels of 39 U/L and >normal 48 U/L. 60% of respondents with sleep duration 5 hours/day had normal SGPT levels of 38 U/L and >normal 47 U/ L. Keywords: Less Sleep Rest, SGPT, Driver
