Abstract

The rate of maternal deaths are still high recently, one of the causes of maternal death is pregnancy risk. The pregnancy risk can be prevented and lowered by visiting the ANC regularly. The mother who visits the ANC on a regular basis can determine the early conditions of their pregnancy, therefore they can do the labor normaly. This study aimed to relationship between ANC visit compliance by normal labor at Public Health Center of Bangetayu Semarang. This research is a descriptive study using restrospective approach. The method used was total sampling. The sample of this study were 33 multigravida mothers who labored at Bangetayu health center. The results of statistical tests using chi-square obtained p-value of 0.014, so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between ANC visit compliance by normal labor at Public Health Center of Bangetayu Semarang. This research can be used for the health center to be a reference in increasing motivation of pregnant women to visit the ANC regularly. Keywords : Compliance visits to ANC, normal labors.
