Abstract

Protein in the body is as a component for muscle contraction therefore, there will be the movement of on the human body while doing activity physical.Construction workers is worker who included in physical activity the intensity heavy.Physical activity can cause levels of a protein in the body change because physical activity need energy many, when organisms not able to fulfill energy from the glucose, so protein worn as food storage.The purpose of this research to know picture total levels protein blood on construction workers.Sample was a random as many as 28 people construction workers, then examined used a photometer 4010 with the methods biuret.The investigation result from the percentage the total a protein on construction workers showed the result of 28 respondents, <normal by one sample (3.6%), normal 23 sample (82,1%), <normal as much as 4 sample (14.3%). Of inspection result shall the nature of all that the total protein the highest and the normal as many as 82,1 % .The nature of all that the total a protein on the work 8-12 hours obtained proceeds normally as many as 7 the smallest number of respondents (70%) , <normal as many as 2 the smallest number of respondents (20 %) and >normal as many as 1 the smallest number of respondents (10%) . The work <12 hours obtained proceeds normally as many as 16 the smallest number of respondents (88,89%) , >normal as many as 2 the smallest number of respondents (11,11%) .Of inspection result shall the nature of all that the total protein by age obtained proceeds normally as many as 23 the smallest number of respondents (82,14%) , >normal as many as 4 of respondents are the same (14,29%) <normal 1 the smallest number of respondents (3.57%).
